It's a simple to use pocket size device that helps me with barking neighbor's dog. The device has three modes: light only, light + ultrasound for dog training and strobing light + ultrasound for agressive dogs. The item doesn't come with 9V battery so you'll need to get one.

Amazing! Changed our life!!
Reviewed by Lioness Zen from NV, United Kingdom on February 06, 2020
We have an adorable shelter pup, Sarah, a chihuahua pomeranian mix . She's been a member of our family for over 3 years. As much as we love her, I can easily see why she got surrendered by her previous owner:/ Sarah had a really major issue with my husband. All he had to do was cross her path or come into her line of vision and she would go bonkers barking and snarling!! When she wasn't trying to eat him, she was snuggled up next to him on the couch!Since we got this training device, life has changed for the better for all of us! As another reviewer stated, it's important to use the device with a command like "no bark". It didn't take long, maybe a week or so, before Sarah got the message that "no bark" meant no bark!! Although, we occasionally have to pick up the device and point it at her - just reaching for it is enough to chill her right out.Note: in the initial training, we did have to turn up to the higher setting twice. Sarah visibly reacted to that setting, so we know some disturbing sound was emitted and it made a lasting impression on her! Bottom line, we humans are a lot happier and so is Sarah, because she no longer feels the need to wage a battle for dominance, which is likely the reason for her aggressive behavior.

Works?!
Reviewed by Marissa & Stephen Campbell from OK, United Kingdom on January 27, 2020
While this didn't work for my barky girl, it absolutely terrified my non-barker. You could tell the noise had some effect on barky; flinching and a pause, but right back to barking. Non-barky looked extremely worried and tried to run from my home! I was using it to stop barky from yelling at a frequent guest, when the door opened non-barky tried to bolt right through the guests legs. Non-barky was anxious for quite some time after use. I wont be using this again but it obviously works in getting dogs attention; so while I can say it works it doesnt work for my pups.

Not for My Dog
Reviewed by J. Watkins from NE, United Kingdom on December 31, 2019
This product functions properly, but unfortunately it didn't work for my 50 lb 6 month old Aussiedoodle. The unit itself is easy to use and understand, you will need a 9 volt battery when it arrives, and I could definitely hear a high pitch frequency when I held it up to my ear so I knew it was working like it should. My coworker says this exact product works wonderfully for recall with her smaller dog, but I'm not sure if maybe the frequency is not right for all dogs. When I pressed the button she had no reaction to it at all. Back to the drawing board. I wouldn't say don't buy this, because I know it works for some, but keep in mind that it may not work for your specific dog.

Dog trainer and bark deterrent
Reviewed by Candace717 from NE, United States on December 28, 2019
I'm still figuring this guy out but it takes a 9v battery. It has 3 modes, training, lightning (flashlight), and anti-barking. It comes with an instruction manual on how to use the beam button to train the dog to perform tricks and wanted behaviors. My dog is older so I mostly plan on using this to curtail barking, but it's a fun addition to have a training tool.
